NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan is in the midst of its “Thank You, Red, White & Blue” campaign.
The campaign is the bank’s way of recognizing military servicemen and servicewomen. People can nominate anyone who is actively serving or who has served in the U.S. military who they feel deserves special recognition. Nominations are open until July 4 and in mid-July the bank will randomly select five of the nominees to be publicly recognized. The bank will also donate $500 in the name of each of the five heroes to the Wounded Warrior Project.
To nominate a hero use the “Thank You, Red, White & Blue” application found at www.nvsl.com/hero. Paper applications are also available at any Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan branch.
