WATERBURY — Naugatuck Valley Community College is holding an express registration day Saturday.
Express registration gives students the opportunity to apply to the college, take the placement exam, meet with an advisor, and register and pay for courses. Representatives from the NVCC Bookstore, financial aid office and cashier’s office will also be on hand to assist students.
Express registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Naugatuck Valley Community College, 750 Chase Parkway in Waterbury. The spring academic semester at NVCC begins on Jan. 20.
In order to complete the entire process, students are asked to arrive as early as possible. Applications can be completed ahead of time at www.nvcc.commnet.edu/apply. Students will need to provide proof of high school completion and immunization documentation.
The college will also be offering extended registration hours on the following dates:
Jan. 11 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Jan. 17 through Jan. 19 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Jan. 20 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
