NSB announces promotions, new branch manager

NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Savings Bank announced two promotions and the hire of a new branch manager for its Watertown office.

According to a press release issued by the bank, Jayne Kelly was promoted to senior vice president of commercial lending.

“Jayne’s vast commercial lending experience will enable her to ensure that we build and maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on growth and depth” Charles Boulier, III, president and CFO of Naugatuck Savings Bank said in the release. “We believe in building lifetime relationships by partnering with our customers to help them achieve their financial goals.”

Kelly joined Naugatuck Savings Bank in 1997, as an assistant vice president and moved up to vice president of commercial lending.

Kelly received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Connecticut’s School of Business and is a graduate of the ABA National School of Banking.

Bruce Noe was also promoted.

Noe is now the senior vice president of residential and consumer lending, and will also serve as an executive officer.

“Bruce’s extensive residential and consumer lending experience will enable him to support and develop the department members to provide exceptional customer service and help our customers by providing them with the knowledge and understanding they need to make the right borrowing decisions, ” Boulier said in a prepared release.

Noe joined Naugatuck Savings Bank in 2009 as a vice president, a senior residential loan officer and executive officer. He has more than 30 years of lending experience at community banks in Connecticut.

Noe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University and is a graduated from the Connecticut Bankers Association School of Finance and Management and the National School of Banking at Fairfield University.

Along with the promotions of Kelly and Moe, the bank welcomed Diane Stewart as the branch manager of its Watertown office.

“Diane’s extensive experience in retail banking will enable her to lead the staff team to provide customers with the level of personalized service necessary to achieve their financial goals,” Dawn Orsini, vice president of retail banking, said in a prepared release.

Stewart brings 20 years of experience to Naugatuck Savings Bank. She was previously branch manager at Webster Bank in Waterbury and assistant to the internal auditor at American Bank in Waterbury.
