NSB announces promotion, hire of regional manager

NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Savings Bank has promoted Sharon Mansfield to vice president, commercial loan officer.

In this role Mansfield, a Wolcott resident, will oversee the bank’s small business loan portfolio as well as continue to develop new commercial mortgage and loan business and manage a commercial mortgage and loan portfolio.

“Sharon is a strong contributor to our commercial lending team and throughout her tenure with the bank she has helped to strengthen and grow our customer base” said Jayne Kelly, senior vice president of commercial lending, in a prepared statement.

Mansfield joined Naugatuck Savings Bank in 2008 as assistant vice president, commercial loan officer.

Along with the promotion of Mansfield, the bank announced the hiring of Laura Gallinoto of South Windsor as regional manager.

As regional manager, Gallinoto will manage all aspects of sales, service and operational efficiencies of our branch offices.

“Laura’s vast amount of experience in retail banking will enable her to assist our customers in reaching their short and long term financial goals by coaching staff members to identify our customers’ needs and provide them with solutions to achieve their goals,” said Dawn Orsini, vice president of retail banking, in a prepared statement.

Gallinoto brings 22 years of experience to Naugatuck Savings Bank. She holds an associate degree from the Regional Bank Professional Development Program and from the School of Retail Banking Management at the University of Virginia. She is also a business administration and accounting graduate of the Morse School of Business.
