NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce is seeking area nonprofit organizations to sell tickets for the 9th Annual Duck Day and Race in June.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from each raffle ticket for a duck sold by nonprofits will go back to the organization. There is no cost to the organizations and nonprofits do not need to secure a minimum number of tickets to sell.

Last year, more than more than 80 nonprofit organizations and school groups collectively earned over $33,000 through their participation, according to a press release issued by the chamber.

Application forms to obtain and sell tickets must be completed by April 1. For an application, email Alison Amato at aamato@waterburychamber.com. Completed forms can be faxed to the Waterbury Regional Chamber at (203) 756-3507 or mailed to the Waterbury Regional Chamber, 83 Bank St., Waterbury, CT 06721.

This year’s race is June 1 in downtown Naugatuck. For more information on the Duck Day and Race, visit www.duckday.com.
