NHS, WRHS set for graduation

Graduation ceremonies for the Naugatuck High School and Woodland Regional High School classes of 2015 are set for June 24.

Naugatuck High’s graduation is at 6 p.m. on the turf field at the school, 543 Rubber Ave. If it rains on June 24, the ceremony will be postponed to June 25 at 6 p.m. The decision to postpone will be made by 2 p.m. on June 24. If it rains on June 25, graduation will be moved into the gym and students will receive two tickets for guests.

Due to the ongoing renovation project at the high school, on-site parking is limited. Parking and shuttle bus service will be available at the General DataComm parking lot, 6 Rubber Ave., free of charge. The shuttles will begin to run at 5 p.m. until the start of ceremony at 6 p.m. and return to the parking lot starting from 7 until 8 p.m.

Woodland’s graduation ceremony is at 6 p.m. in the courtyard of the school, 135 Back Rimmon Road, Beacon Falls. The ceremony will be moved into the gym if it rains. Graduates will receive four tickets each for an inside ceremony.

Parking is available at the school until the lots are full, and then families will be directed to off-site parking and a shuttle bus will be provided.
