NHS hosting college night

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck High School guidance department is hosting a College Night Oct. 28.

The department will present information on how to find the college that’s the right fit, how to apply for financial aid, and how to win scholarships and avoid scams. The program is geared towards juniors and seniors, but all high school students are encouraged to attend. Three $500 scholarships will be raffled off during the night to students in attendance, and refreshments will be served.

The program is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the high school, 543 Rubber Ave. For more information, call the high school at (203) 720-5400.
