SEYMOUR — The National Federation of Independent Business has endorsed Republican Nicole Klarides-Ditria in the race for the 105th General Assembly district.

Klarides-Ditria, 47, is the deputy first selectman in Seymour. She owns and manages Klarides Family Associates. She is challenging Democrat incumbent state Rep. Theresa Conroy, of Seymour, in the 105th District, which represents Beacon Falls, Derby and Seymour.

The NFIB is a small business association that advocates for its members.

“The current business climate in Connecticut is unfriendly to businesses small and large,” said Klarides-Ditria in a press release. “The anti-business policies being passed in Hartford are created by people who have no clue what it takes to run a business.”
