Easter Egg

PROSPECT — The Town of Prospect will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hotchkiss Field.

The Volunteer Fire Department of Prospect will have a flower sale on Friday and Saturday at the fire house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The fire department will also have a grinder sale on April 8

NAUGATUCK — The borough will hold Park and Recreation’s 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Naugatuck High School football field. The school and field is located at 543 Rubber Ave.

Admission is free for children ages 2 to 10 years-old but pre-registration is required. Easter egg hunt times are: 10:30 a.m. for 2 to 4 year-olds, 10:45 a.m. for 5 to 7 year-olds and 11 a.m. for 8 to 10 year-olds. Check-in will begin at 9:45 a.m. Children are asked to bring their own basket.

People can call 203-720-7043 by Friday to register their child. Residents are also asked to bring a non-perishable donation for the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank Inc.

Easter ham dinner

BEACON FALLS — The Beacon Falls Congregational Church is sponsoring a free Easter ham dinner for distribution or pickup on Sunday.

The free dinner is for any town resident would like to participate, those that may be on their own this holiday, people who may not be able to leave their home or for anyone who would like a meal and a friendly visit.

Residents can pick up the meals from Beacon Falls Congregational Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. or delivered to a home on that morning as well.

Citizens are also able to sign up for meal pickup or delivery by emailing secretary@beaconfallscongregational.org or by phone at 203-729-8802.

People who would like to sponsor a meal, which costs about $10, or donate funds can use the same contact information as above.
