WATERBURY — New Opportunities, Inc. has kicked off of its “Buy a Wheel” fundraising campaign.
The campaign will run through the end of March and benefit the Meals On Wheels program serving the Greater Waterbury area.
As a part of Buy a Wheel 2013, 14 retailers and banks in the Greater Waterbury and Danbury area are selling paper wheels for a $1 while Thomaston Savings Bank in Waterbury is additionally offering them in denominations of $5, $10 and $20.
New Opportunities is the community action agency that serves 30 towns, including Naugatuck, Beacon Falls and Prospect.
