Naugatuck schools offering summer meals

NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Public Schools is participating in the federally-funded Summer Food Service Program, which provides free meals to children 18 years old and younger during the summer months.

The program, which starts this week, runs on weekdays through Aug. 14. Breakfast and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Meals are available at the following locations: Naugatuck High School, 543 Rubber Ave.; City Hill Middle School, 441 City Hill St.; Andrew Avenue School, 140 Andrew Ave.; Western School, 108 Pine St.; Salem School, 124 Meadow St.; Hop Brook School, 75 Crown St.; Maple Hill School, 641 Maple Hill Road; Central Avenue School, 28 Central Ave.; Lantern Park Condo Association, Lantern Park Drive.
