School has been canceled Thursday in Naugatuck and Region 16 (Beacon Falls and Prospect) due to the impending snowstorm.
For Region 16 students that means an extra long weekend as the district already had Friday and Monday off. Naugatuck schools are off Monday and Tuesday in observance of Presidents’ Day.
