NAUGATUCK — Police are searching for the driver of a motorcycle who fled from an attempted traffic stop last week.

Police said the man passed several vehicles, including a marked police cruiser, recklessly on Meadow Street at about 8:30 p.m. July 19. Police said the man fled officers when they attempted to stop him and was last seen heading west on Rubber Avenue Extension.

Police described the man as white and about 20 years old. Police said he was riding a smaller, sport-style motorcycle and wearing a blue coat with dark blue sleeves, jeans and a black helmet.
