NAUGATUCK — A 17-year-old was stabbed Sunday night near the corner of George Street and Fairview Avenue, police said.
Police said the stabbing happened at about 9:50 p.m. The teen was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said he was still in the hospital as of Monday morning.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing is ongoing. As of Monday morning, no further information was available.
