Naugatuck police get social

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Police Department has gone social.

The department recently launched a Facebook page to help spread information to borough residents.

“It’s just another tool for us to be able to interact with the town,” Naugatuck police spokesman Lt. Bryan Cammarata said.

The page can be found at and includes information from parking ordinances during snowstorms and what residents need to know for upcoming storms to the happenings within the police department such as retirements and promotions.

Cammarata said the department is looking for residents to “like” them so the information posted can reach as many people as possible.
