The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

DESIREA DUDA, 27, of 112 Forest St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 17 with fifth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation and third-degree forgery.

Police reported on Sept. 17 at approximately 7:45 a.m. Duda turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a stolen check complaint made on May 7, 2014. Police reported Duda stole the victim’s check and cashed it for the amount of $750. Duda was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JESSICA CHANDLER, 27, of 79 Pleasant Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 18 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Sept. 18 Chandler turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Chandler was given a court date of Sept. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

CHERLEYDSON ALVES, 30, of 195 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged possession controlled substance and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Sept. 18 at 8:21 p.m. officers responded to a suspicious person complaint on North Main Street. When the officer approached Alves, Alves ran from the officer, police reported. Alves was taken into custody. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Alves was in possession of 0.4 grams of crack cocaine. Alves was given a court date of Oct. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

SHERRY WINEGAR, 45, of 270 Oak Brook Lane, Torrington, was charged Sept. 18 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 18 at approximately 10:55 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Winegar stole men’s boxers and bed sheets worth $247.20. Winegar was given a court date of Oct. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT BRUSH, 53, of 176 Geddes Terrace, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 19 with driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 9:01 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Brush was operating under the influence of alcohol. Brush was given a court date of Oct. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

FREDERICK TURNER, 51, of 629 Andrew Mountain Road, Naugatuck, was charged was charged Sept. 19 with driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 9:48 p.m. an officer responded to the area of New Haven Road for an erratic driver. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Turner was operating under the influence of alcohol. Turner was given a court date of Oct. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MICHELLE LAVOIE, 45, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 20 with driving under the influence and failure to obey control signal.

Police reported on Sept. 20 at approximately 1:53 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Lavoie was operating under the influence of alcohol. Lavoie was given a court date of Oct. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER ROSADO, 25, of 112 Parkland Ave., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 21 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 2:23 a.m. an officer found the victim walking near Bridge Street with a laceration above his eye. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rosado was the victim of an assault. During an argument Rosado punched the victim, who is an acquaintance, police reported. Rosado was given a court date of Sept. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT ROGERS III, 30, of 103 Utica St., Milford, was charged Sept. 21 with driving under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane and operation of motor vehicle when license is suspended.

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 7:50 p.m. officers responded to 261 Field St. for a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rogers was operating under the influence of alcohol. Rogers was given a court date of Oct. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

DARIN POOLE, 52, of 32 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 21 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 10:15 p.m. bail enforcement escorted Poole, who was wanted on an active arrest warrant, to the Naugatuck Police Department. Poole was given a court date of Sept. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

ANDRAE WHITE, 31, of 976 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 22 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Sept. 22 at approximately 12:33 a.m. officers responded to 796 New Haven Road for a domestic disturbance. White was involved in an argument with his girlfriend’s stepmother, police reported. During the argument White struck her, and she then threw a cast iron skillet. White was given a court date of Sept. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
