Naugatuck PD partners with company for fingerprinting services

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Police Department has partnered with Biometric Identification Services to provide fingerprinting services to the public.

Representatives of Biometric Identification Services are available on a first-come, first-serve basis Tuesdays from 3 to 6 p.m. in the lobby of the police department, 211 Spring St.

There is a $25 fee per applicant, which includes identification verification, electronic fingerprinting and printing of fingerprint cards.

Fingerprint appointments are not necessary. Applicants must have at least one form of government-issued photo identification.

Biometric Identification Services technicians will wear approved masked and gloves at all times. Applicants will be required to bring and wear masks, maintain social distance, and sanitize their hands with provided sanitizer before and after fingerprinting.
