NAUGATUCK — Leah Rose Carole Shehu passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Baby Leah was the daughter of Attorney Karl D. and Alexa (Rosetti) Shehu of Naugatuck. God breathed life into Leah Rose Carole during her parents’ honeymoon in Antarctica.
Joining Baby Leah’s heartbroken parents in mourning and grief are her paternal grandfather, Karl H. Shehu; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Francine (Malkin) Rosetti; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Leah was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Carole L. (Christiano) Shehu.
Leah was laid to rest on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, was entrusted with her arrangements.
