NAUGATUCK — Judith Dianne (Elliott) Graham passed on peacefully, while surrounded by the love of her family, on May 17, 2024, at Apple Rehab. She was the loving wife of George Graham.

Born Feb. 13, 1941 in New Haven, a daughter of the late Winston R. and Muriel (Clarke) (Elliott) Graham, Judy graduated from Crosby High School, class of 1959. Later she attended Post University.

Judy loved serving the Lord, the ocean, reading, crocheting and visiting her Amish friends in Lancaster, Pa., the Glick family. Judy was a very active member of First Assembly of God, Waterbury, before her declining health.

Her happiest moments were spent in the company of her three daughters and four grandchildren. She also had a love of shoes, earning her the nickname “Imelda Marcos” by her husband George.

Judy had a wonderful and varied work life. Her “dream job” was owning and operating, together with her husband George, The Graham House Bed and Breakfast in Watertown from 1989 to 1999.

She also was the director of Graduate Services Computer Processing Institute, Bridgeport. Judy concluded her career as a rehabilitation specialist for Easterseals Employment Services in Waterbury.

The diversity of her positions, and the expertise with which she performed them, attests to her attributes of intelligence, willingness to try new adventures and determination to perfect her abilities.

Throughout her life, family was first for Judy. Her life was a tapestry of wonderful moments interwoven with smiles, laughter and love of family and friends; wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she treasured every role.

Left to cherish her love and memory are her loving husband George Graham; daughters Vicki (Chris) Provencher of Florida, Michelle (Anthony) Granata of Danbury, and Jennifer (Craig) Dupont of Naugatuck, with whom she made her home.

She also leaves her stepsons William Graham of Texas, and David Graham of North Carolina. She was Granny or Grandma Jude to Chip Granata, Emily Dupont, Elliott Dupont and Ethan Dupont, and Trevor Graham and Conner Graham, Allyson Parker and Samantha Richards; and her great-granddaughter Bella. Judy also leaves her brother Maynard (Roseann) Elliott of Waterbury; as well as her dear friends.

Judy was predeceased by her parents and stepfather George Graham.

Friends and family were invited to visit with the Judy’s family on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. at Prospect Memorial/The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Road, Prospect. A celebration of life service was to begin at 2:30 p.m.
