NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Fire Police is looking for five new officers.
Naugatuck Fire Police is a volunteer component of the Naugatuck Fire Department that assists with traffic and crowd control during emergencies and public events. Naugatuck Fire Police also assist during natural disasters.
To be eligible, people must be 18 years old, have a current driver’s license and pass a background check. Applicants are subject to an interview process. All training, uniforms and gear are provided. Application packets are available in the lobby of Naugatuck fire headquarters, 41 Maple St.
