NAUGATUCK — The Fraternal Order of Eagles is accepting letters to nominate Naugatuck, Prospect and Beacon Falls mothers to be honored as its Mother of the Year.
The letter should state the reasons why the mother should be considered for this honor. She will be honored with a ceremony, including past Mothers of the Year, and will ride in the Memorial Day parade.
All letters need to have the following information: the name, address and telephone number of the nominee and the name, relationship to the nominee, telephone number and contact information of the person nominating a mother.
Letters must be received by April 26. The letters need to be signed and sent to: Mother of the Year Committee, Eagles FOE #640, 388 High St., Naugatuck, CT 06770.
