Mobile food pantry truck coming to Southbury

SOUTHBURY — The Connecticut Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry will be delivering a variety of fresh produce for a free distribution to limited income households on Feb. 17.

This program is for any person from area towns who has a low income and in need of food assistance. No proof of income is needed. Participants are requested to bring their own sturdy bags.

The mobile food pantry will arrive at 1 p.m. and be in back of the Southbury Senior Center at 561 Main St. South. If school is cancelled because of snow, the truck will not come. Next month’s distribution is scheduled for March 16.
