NAUGATUCK – Anthony White, 16, who went missing Tuesday morning, has been found.
At about 5:20 p.m. Wednesday the Naugatuck Police Department issued a brief statement reporting White had been located, is unharmed and was at the police department.
White went missing around 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, according to his mother, Sherry Danby. She said her son was visiting for the week and was supposed to fly home to his father’s house Tuesday morning.
The family contacted police, who had been searching for White up until the time he was located yesterday.
“Thank you to everyone who helped us try to find him, and for all of the encouragement, support, and love for our family which has been tremendous and we are so thankful to you all,” Danby wrote on Facebook around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
