Police-badgeNAUGATUCK — Police arrested a 43-year-old Waterbury man Tuesday on a charge of stealing $16,000 from Meyers Supply, a company in the Naugatuck Industrial Park where he worked as a warehouse manager.

Robert Cuadrado, of 24 Central Ave., supervised employees who received money for scrap metal and submitted the money to him, said Lt. Bryan Cammarata of the Naugatuck Police Department. On nine different occasions between Sept. 17 and Jan. 11, Cuadrado never forwarded the money to the company at 191 Sheridan Drive, Cammarata said.

Cuadrado was served with a warrant for third-degree larceny while he was attending Waterbury Superior Court. He was arraigned the same day.
