NAUGATUCK — A borough liquor store was robbed by a man with a knife early Sunday afternoon.
Police said the Cork N Keg at 430 Rubber Ave. was robbed at about 12:15 p.m. by a man who displayed a knife and demanded money from the clerk. The man fled the store on foot with a small amount of cash and some items from the store, police said. The clerk wasn’t injured, police said.
The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male and was wearing a grayish and blue ski jacket with a hoodie underneath.
