NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library is featuring the color photography of Naugatuck resident Michael Patton this month.

Patton is a self-taught photographer whose interest began in high school when he started taking pictures, especially concerts at the Yale Bowl in New Haven and a variety of events at the former New Haven Coliseum. He has been invited to display his work at The Beach Gallery and The Firehouse Gallery both in Milford. His most recent subjects include studies of flowers and bees, but he is particularly interested in sports photography.

This month’s exhibit includes studies of shells, flowers, butterflies, bees and the moon. The exhibit is currently on display on the Whittemore Gallery Wall and can be viewed during regular library hours. For more information, call (203) 729-4591.
