To the editor,

I am writing this letter in support of Lezlye Zupkus for re-election in the 89th.

Lezlye has really done what she said that she would do. She voted against tax hikes and tried to bring some sense to the circus that is Hartford.

If you have never been to the Capitol during the legislative session I suggest that you make the trip. Don’t say I didn’t warn you — once you grasp what is truly happening you will be mortified.
The main problem is that there is one-party rule. They do whatever they want whenever they want to. It is quite dysfunctional and it is symbolic of the adage that absolute power corrupts. With no checks and balances, Hartford excessively taxes and spends.

Lezlye has been outspoken in her opposition to Hartford spendthrifts. Her re-election is a key step towards returning balance to the business of governing our state.

Vote Lezlye Zupkus on Election Day.
