To the editor,
I would like to offer my gratitude to the Naugatuck Lodge of Elks #967, and in particular, Jimmy Desmarais, for having their senior citizen program workers remove brush and debris and cleaning an area of my property at 157 Birch Lane.
Being a senior citizen and a disabled veteran, it is difficult at times to accomplish chores such as this. Being able to call on a local civic organization that provides this type of community service is truly a blessing. I applaud all of their efforts to help the senior citizens of Naugatuck.
