Letter: Pay attention to who votes for Iran deal

To the editor,

Aiding, and giving comfort to the enemy is, by definition, treason. Iran has sworn to bring death to America so by any stretch of the imagination they are our enemy. Therefor any member of Congress who votes in favor of the Iran nuclear deal should be arrested and tried for treason. Of course we all know that won’t happen.

It is of no surprise that our President is strongly in favor of this debacle, but what does surprise me is the number of our supposed representatives who are willing to sell out their constituents and their families for political gain. There is no need for me to list all the reasons that this is the worst deal ever negotiated since Chamberlain struck the deal with Hitler prior to WWII that led to the Holocaust. Those reasons have been presented at great length elsewhere. However, it is my hope that every American take note of who voted in favor and who voted against this act, and make certain that those people who voted for it are never sent to Washington again. Perhaps by this some good will have come of this betrayal.
