Letter: Information on missing airplane lacking

To the editor,

We have been hearing comments regarding the lack of detail information from the Malaysians about the missing aircraft. Some have attributed this failing to attempts at nationalistic face-saving. Maybe those people are too lax in enforcing strict safety measures but they are not technically limited.

While not considered politically correct, I would propose that their failing to communicate are because the controlling government itself is not really against terrorism.

The governments all around that region are either virtual theocracies or are undergoing continual religious unrest. Don’t ask the news media or Washington about this. Ask American business people who have lived in the area.

Let’s be honest and not hide our heads. We are in an active religious war.
