To the editor,
So now our government officials are giving away driver’s licenses to illegals, huh? Just like that. Obama is passing out special privileges just like giving out lollipops to children.
Most adult drivers in this country got their license the hard way, the honest way, by reading and studying the manual and taking the test in English. This is the USA, not Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina or some Third World country. All our road signs are in English.
If the authorities who are giving licenses to illegals are aware of who the unlicensed illegals are who have been driving around and any offenses the illegals have committed on the road and have turned their heads away, they are missing a chance to prosecute the offenders. This seems like reverse discrimination.
Let’s hope authorities follow up on these illegals and make sure they are properly insured too.
Will they be able to read or understand their car insurance? If they are involved in an accident will they know how to give the proper and necessary information to the other person or victim? Or, will they flee from the scene? After all, they are already illegal.
