Letter: Candidates are example of ‘good old boys’ network

To the editor,

I’m not trying to promote Mr. Trump as a candidate but I do note one outstanding thing: With a rare exception, all the other presidential candidates, whether Republican or Democrat, gang up against him much more forcefully than they speak up against each other.

To me this is a great example of “the good old boys” network of “professional politicians” that even extends across party lines. But then again, this is the definition of politician. They are only interested in continuing in their chosen line of work and respond only to those who butter them up. It would appear that, as expected, we will be choosing the lesser of a bunch of evils.
