Legislators to kick off re-election campaigns


DERBY — State Rep. Nicole Klarides-Ditria, R-Seymour, is hosting a joint re-election kickoff event on Thursday with her sister, House Minority Leader Themis Klarides, R-Derby.

Klarides-Ditria, a Seymour resident, represents the 105th House District, which includes all of Seymour and Beacon Falls, and a section of Derby. She was first elected in 2016 and re-elected in 2018.

Klarides represents the 114th House District, which includes all of Woodbridge and sections of Orange and Derby.

The kickoff event is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Retro Grub & Pub, 87 Elizabeth St. The suggested contribution to their re-election campaigns is $5 to $250.
