Keaveney graduates basic training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Air National Guard Airman Ryan J. Keaveney recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Keaveney, who graduated from Woodland Regional High School in 2009, is the son of Maureen Keaveney of Prospect and John Keaveney of Glen Ellyn, Ill.
