PROSPECT — A homeowner on Englewood Drive scared off a burglar Aug. 29, police say.
Troop I received a report of an attempted burglary shortly before midnight at 122 Englewood Ave., according to a press release. Police reported the suspect entered the home and was confronted by the homeowner. The suspect fled the house on foot in an unknown direction, police reported. No details were given on how the suspect entered the home.
Police said nothing was taken from the house, and no description of the suspect was able to be given. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Troop I at (203) 393-4200.
