Harvest Moon Festival set for 36th year  


NAUGATUCK — About 80 vendors will pack the Naugatuck Green Friday and Saturday for the 36th annual Harvest Moon Festival.

The festival, which runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, is sponsored by the Congregational Church of Naugatuck, and managed by Boy Scout Troop 102. Proceeds from the festival go toward funding the troop’s annual activities, including campouts, summer camp and high adventure activities.

Vendors for the festival will offer a wide variety of handmade crafts, food, art, books, products and community services. The festival also features a variety of entertainment, including live music by 60’s Satisfaction, the duo of Terri Lachance and Bruce Hazard, and DJ Seth Carley.
