HARTFORD — State Sen. Joan Hartley, D-Waterbury, was recently named co-chair of the General Assembly’s bipartisan Manufacturing Caucus.
The caucus identifies and recommends passage of legislation that promotes the manufacturing sector in Connecticut’s economy.
“Manufacturing is a critical part of our economy, creating good-paying jobs for state residents and supplying parts and products to the broader business community,” Hartley said in a press release. “By working with like-minded legislators on both sides of the aisle, I plan to advocate for policies that will strengthen and expand manufacturing in our state.
