HARTFORD — State Rep. Len Greene Jr. (R –105) hosted town hall meetings on June 5 in Beacon Falls and June 6 in Seymour.
Greene was joined by state Sen. Rob Kane (R-32) for the meeting in Seymour. The legislators met with constituents to discuss issues pertaining to the 2012 legislative session, including the state budget, job creation, economic development, education reform.
After a brief introduction, the legislators fielded questions and concerns from the audience about issues stemming from the Naugatuck Valley area.
“These meetings are always a great opportunity to once again meet one-on-one with the people of the 105th District and hear their thoughts on all that has been happening at the capitol in Hartford,” said Greene in a news release. “It’s important to make sure all the families, businesses and organizations throughout the Valley understand how the legislation being passed in Hartford has a direct affect on their local community and daily lives.”
