WATERBURY — The Connecticut Community Foundation (CCF) recently received gifts and pledges to establish an advised fund for the Friends of the Beacon Falls Public Library.

“Agency advised funds at CCF allow donors peace of mind,” said Ingrid Manning, CEO of Connecticut Community Foundation, in a prepared statement. “Donors to nonprofits with endowment funds at CCF are assured that their gifts will remain as part of a permanent endowment for the organization.”

According to a release issued by the foundation, a gift of $10,000 was used to establish the Friends of the Beacon Falls Library Advised Fund, which is designated for library projects, particularly expansion opportunities. Funds may also be used to assist the library staff with programs, events, homebound deliveries, and raising money for the Library Wish List.
