WATERBURY — Connecticut Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for its first round of 2015 funding.
The foundation serves 21 towns, including Beacon Falls, Naugatuck and Prospect, in the Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills areas.
The foundation’s grants will emphasize the following priorities: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental awareness and action, healthy communities, leadership and nonprofit excellence, and resident engagement.
In addition, the foundation will continue special initiatives including LitLinks, Nonprofit Excellence, Pathways for Older Adults, Women’s Issues, International Youth Travel, and Eye Research.
