NAUGATUCK — Parents of elementary school students in Naugatuck are invited to a technology/literacy forum on March 24.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hop Brook Elementary School, 75 Crown St., Naugatuck. Library media and computer literacy teaching staff will speak to parents how to help their children educationally and personally as it relates to technology.
The evening will include a presentation from Naugatuck Police Department Detective Amada Devan, who deals with youth related issues; presentations on math and reading websites and apps; community resources for educational support; internet safety awareness; and a free raffle.
Those who want to attend this district-wide event are encouraged to do so by contacting the secretary at their children’s schools by March 17.
