Ferguson named Eagles’ Mother of the Year

CNLogo1NAUGATUCK — The Fraternal Order of Eagles announced that Sheila Ferguson of Naugatuck has been chosen as the organization’s 2013 Mother of the Year. 

Ferguson’s acts of kindness include making sure that 30 needy families had a great Thanksgiving meal. She also works with her church to help people in need, while being guardian for her special needs sister, according to a press release issued by the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

“We are pleased to have her for the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2013 Mother of the Year,” the release stated.

Ferguson will be honored at a dinner ceremony on May 19th at 1 p.m. at the Aerie Home on High Street in Naugatuck. She will also be appearing in the Memorial Day Parade on May 27.
