NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck is holding an informational meeting Feb. 4 on a project to make improvements on Church Street, Cedar Street and Water Street for bicyclists and pedestrians.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. It will be a virtual meeting and held via Zoom. For information on how to log into the meeting, visit www.naugatuck-ct.gov. A PowerPoint presentation on the project is available on the borough’s website.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation awarded Naugatuck a $399,735 grant through the Community Connectivity Grant Program in 2019 for the project. The program provides construction funding for projects that will improve the safety and accessibility for bicyclists and pedestrians in downtown areas.
