HARTFORD — State Sen. Joseph Crisco, Jr. (D-17) is hosting a senior fair on Thursday at Warsaw Park, 119 Pulaski Highway, in Ansonia.
Senior citizens from throughout the area are invited to attend the fair, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dozens of service providers and vendors will have exhibits at the fair to showcase the programs, products, and services they direct toward older residents, Crisco said. The program is free for residents of 17th Senatorial District, which covers all or parts of Anspnia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Hamden, Naugatuck, and Woodbridge. A box lunch will be provided to those who attend.
Past and potential exhibitors should call (860) 240-0189 with questions and to register for space that day.
“This fair has repeatedly served the best interests of 17th District seniors and has proven itself time and again as a most effective outreach tool, matching products and information about state and local services, programs, and activities with those for whom they are intended and who can best use the information,” Crisco said in a prepared statement. “We’ve had such an enthusiastic response to this event in previous years—I would encourage all those who can attend to do so again.”
