Woodland senior Levi Fancher signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at Assumption College in Worcester, Mass, March 5. Fancher set several school records at Woodland, including the career sacks mark, and helped lead the Hawks to back-to-back state tournament appearances, including a Class S final berth in 2013. He said playing college football has been his goal ‘since day one freshman year’ and that it ‘felt like home’ at Assumption, where he will go into biotechnology. Fancher was joined at the signing by his parents, Cliff and Kristen Porter, and his oldest brother, Nate.-KYLE BRENNAN
