About 80 people participated in the tour. Participants toured nine private homes in Naugatuck, including the homes of industrialists Howard B. Tuttle and Emil Mannweiller, and Emily Sophie Brown, one of the first women elected to Connecticut’s General Assembly. Homes on the tour were on Terrace Avenue, Millville Avenue, Hillside Avenue and Rockwell Avenue.
