Naugatuck High School held its second annual Pinkapalooza in October to raise awareness of breast cancer. Students wore pink and staff members voted on the best outfit of the day, which came down to Brian Goggin and Nicole Crowley, pictured. Crowley won best outfit. Breast cancer survivor Lisa Carlson, of Naugatuck, right, recently shared her story with students at Chase Collegiate School in Waterbury. The Beacon Falls and Naugatuck Rotary clubs raised $3,476 and received a matching grant of $869 from the Liberty Bank Foundation to donate to the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank.
