HARTFORD — The State Elections Enforcement Commission recently approved public grants under the Citizens’ Election Program for candidates running for state office in the November general election.

The commission approved a grant payment for state Rep. David Labriola, a Republican running for re-election in the 131st District, and Nicole Klarides Ditria, a Republican running for re-election in the 105st District.

The Citizens’ Election Program is a voluntary program that provides full public financing for qualifying candidates for General Assembly and statewide offices.
