NAUGATUCK — Firefighters responded to a small fire at 38 Cherry St. at 1 a.m. Saturday.
Fire Chief Ken Hanks said a battery charger for a power tool overheated and started a small fire in the garage under the three apartments at the address. The damage was limited to a cabinet, he said.
