The challenge seeks to inspire as many people as possible to support local nonprofit organizations during a 36-hour on-line giving period in November.
The campaign is open to any nonprofit organization that serves or is located in any of the 21 towns served by the foundation, including Beacon Falls, Naugatuck and Prospect.
Connecticut Community Foundation will be hosting workshop sessions throughout the service area to share more information about the event.
The first workshop will be held Sept. 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Whittemore Library, 243 Church St., Naugatuck. To register for the workshop, email firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, contact Edwin Rodriguez at (203) 753-1315 ext. 102 or email@example.com.
